Animating on a single sheet of paper using charcoal and chalk. A single-take video recording of this animation is projected onto a book. A large fan turns the book’s pages.Repetitive mark making turns the charcoal into a solid, mouldable substance. The process leads me, the work embodying the time taken to make it; accumulating gestures, wearing the paper down, collecting memories.
